Art from the Heart

Water – what do I think about it.

Well, I never thought much about it for a very long time, only knew water is good for drinking, water is required to wash and clean. Also, that water is very precious so we must not waste it but now when I really look into this entity called ‘Water’, I am struck with a totally different feeling, feeling of MAGIC.

First of all, water is found in liquid and solid form, hot and cold form, and also in form of Snow and Hail. I don’t want to think like a learned person who will try to tell me how science explains it. I want to think like a poet. I am mesmerized by the music that is created by the water falling from heights or the music of the ocean waves, I can sit on the beach for hours, just listening to the music created by the ocean. I love the music that is created by the raindrops and the wind blowing during rain. Have you ever stood on a street while it is pouring hail? small hail is like pearls scattered all around on the floor, beautiful white beads. which melts as soon as you pick them, bigger hail is a bit scary. it can easily make dents in your car or can even hurt you.

Today when I look outside my window (yes, I am sitting inside because it is snowing and a Saturday) I see tiny flurries of snow flying across my window, they are not making any sound, very quiet but just looking at them is creating beautiful music in my mind, I understand these are just dried water drops but what beauty, they are pure white and so light that the wind is taking them where ever it wants. During the night this snow is so beautiful, it is as if the moon gives all its light to the snow and snow accepts it all, shining and glowing back at the moon.

I can only conclude that the water is a magical wizard, changing its form according to the weather and location. It provides life to every living being. it looks fragile but it one of the strongest forces of nature. it can cut the hardest stone, create landslides, make way through mountains.

I bow down to this beautiful and powerful force of Nature.
